I’m guessing you’ve already figured out how to listen to radio on your cell phone via the internet. NPR now has a set up where you can call NPR and get your news over the phone.
What is interesting about this when Alexander Graham Bell invented the phone he thought its main use would be for people to call the local opera company and listen to opera over the phone. He thought we’d use it to dial up entertainment. He never saw it as a communication device. After all this time we are finally starting to use phones as Bell envisioned them.
