Free audio books for your mobile phone or ipod

without comments

Myself, I have really gotten into podcasts. I listen to them more than music now. Many podcasts are books in serial format. I’m a big fan of Scott Sigler’s SciFi and JC Hutchin’s 7th Son.

But there are lots of books read by podcast now and not just sci-fi. PodioBooks has a very large selection of free and donationware books for you to download and listen to on your phone.

And be sure to check out:

LibriVox – Audio books in the public domain
Free books has several free audio books, plus several courses of study

Amazing camera phone art

without comments

Connected worlds is a series of photographic art shot entirely with a N95 digital camera. There are real world cities and Second life cities. The photos are created by taking several shots, all overlapping by about 1/3. The photos are then stitched together to create the scene.

So if you stumble across a great scene and only have your cell phone, snap away and you can get art quality shots with a bit of Photoshopping.
