Yahoo oneSearch works like Google local. You put in some information about what you are looking for and a zip code and it will bring up local businesses. Click on a link and it gives you the option for directions as well.
It will remember your zip code and there is an option to change your zip code.
Unfortunately it will also serve up product ads before search results. A search for coffee brought up several coffee ads before it brought up local coffee shops.
