Go to Preferences->Power and in the bottom right draw a small clockwise circle. An Easter Egg will appear. Then a yellow taxi will randomly cross your screen.

It may take you a few tries to coax the Easter Egg to appear. Try re-drawing the circle slower if you don’t succeed at first.

The Treo 680 also has a worm Easter Egg.  Go to Home->Prefs->Power and press the option button, then the # button.  Let go and wait a few seconds.  Changing to another application makes the worm go away.

If you need a map go to Yahoo Maps. Set your browser Options to ‘Wide Page’ and you’ll even be able to read the map.

Google maps does work in your smart phone browser despite the error message it gives you. Put your location in the box and hit ‘search’ and your map will show up. Dragging does not work so get as close to your location as you can, it is slow using the n/s/e/w buttons.

But of course now you can just download the
google map application directly to your phone.
